Valentine’s Makeup 2014
Valentine’s Date calls for a romantic look. Remember the very first time your partner laid eyes on you and can you figure out what it was about you that drew your partner’s eyes? Maybe it was your hair or your defined eyes, surely there was something. For your best features, I recommend that you play it up especially if you are going on a dinner date. Here are a few ideas for your romantic Valentine’s makeup look
• Eyes-apply primer so that your colors will stay many hours longer. You may choose between glitter or matte shadow, and I think that rosey or taupe neutrals is a good choice especially if you are going to pair it with crimson lips. Groom your brows and line your eyes carefully. Use volumizing mascara and you can now focus on your lips.
• Lips- Gloss or matte? My bet for your V-Day look is to go crimson! Crimson in matte creates a classy, elegant look while glossy crimson makes for a pouty look. Be sure to seal in the color with a product similar to Lipcote so that you won’t have to worry about smudging when it’s time for that sweet Valentine good night kiss.
• Hair – Style your hair by first applying conditioner after you’ve washed it. Adding scented oils will help lock in shine and then add anti-frizz or styling products to make sure your hair won’t suffer from outdoor elements when you go on your date. Wavy hair is great, but if you want to take it up a notch, you can try sexy curls as well.
Bonus- Put on a cocktail dress (preferably something in sweet lace) and your favourite heels, you’re sure to get your partner’s eyes glued throughout your date. Have a fun V-Day!
